By adopting international materials, the client has entered the global market and secured a consent order with a major construction contractor. Since 2022, we have collaborated to optimize design for international specifications, resulting in a cost-effective solution that meets local standards. This positions the client for ongoing growth and competitiveness.
The client is a large-scale manufacturer of concrete cutting and drilling machines, with an annual production capacity of approximately 10,000 units in this product segment. During discussions, the client highlighted that their domestic product line holds a significant market share within the local market.
However, their strategic objective is to expand into international markets, with a priority on entering North America, followed by Europe. To support this transition, we carried out a reverse engineering project. The client procured a competitor’s machine and shared it with us.
Our engineers performed:
Following this, we successfully executed a prototype development project. Upon rigorous functional and field testing, the client approved the design and prototype, formally registering them as Intellectual Property (IP).
We began batch production of the machines and fulfilled deliveries under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This allowed the client to create a globally compliant product portfolio and expand exports to targeted markets with reduced risk and quicker lead times.
These machines provide a cost-effective solution, being more affordable than local options while adhering to local design and industry standards. This has positioned our client for continued growth and competitiveness in a new market.
