Exhaust Mounting Solutions, Chassis Component Engineering, Heavy-Duty Mountings
Scope of Work
Our engineering team supported Caterpillar’s On-Highway Truck division by designing and developing chassis mounting systems and critical exhaust-related components. The scope included design of cross-member supports, exhaust mounting systems, after-treatment assemblies, and battery box brackets. The objective was to deliver durable, compact, and manufacturable solutions that could withstand heavy-duty applications.
Key Contributions
Expertise Demonstrated
This project highlighted our capabilities in chassis component design, exhaust system integration, and structural bracket engineering. Our focus on vibration control, durability, and manufacturability ensured reliable designs that supported Caterpillar’s performance and compliance goals.
The engagement resulted in optimized mounting systems that improved durability, assembly efficiency, and ease of maintenance. Our CAD-driven approach reduced design iterations, minimized rework, and accelerated the validation process. The final solutions enhanced vehicle reliability while meeting stringent on-highway truck standards.
